Summary: Liriel of Lothlorien is Haldir's sister and has been the secret lover of Prince Legolas for years. She is Arwen's closest female friend and an ex-girlfriend (not sexual!) of one of Arwen's brothers. What happens when Liriel arrives for the Council of Elrond as Legolas' new bride? I'd love to see the interplay between Haldir and Legolas over the very quick wedding, and how you persuade Gimli that it's a good idea to have another Elf in the party. How do you convince Boromir that a female elf can be a warrior? Must have the couple trying to sneak away for quiet moments but always being interrupted - and I'd love to see someone explaining Elven sex to the hobbits! I'd also suggest arguments between the young couple where Liriel makes it plain to all and sundry that she has a will and a mind of her own. I'm also wondering how things change if someone manages to heal Theoden's son? If you write as just LOTR, great. Cross-over options preferred would be Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Harry Potter.
