Trying to answer my own set of challenges in this site. :) A collection of drabbles (from true drabbles to triple drabbles, according to MS Word) spanning the First Age, told in the point of view of various characters – Elves, Men, Ainur, Dwarves, Ents, animals, and even orcs; not chronologically. Ratings may vary. Enjoy!
Note: Lists of characters, warnings and genres change following the indications of the current drabble.
"Fire": The Battle of Sudden Flames, in Aegnor’s point of view. A true drabble.
"Pet": a squirrel and a pair of young cousins with differing personalities… Chaos ensues. A true drabble.
"Transportation": The Lord of Dogs found his match in the Heiress of Doriath… Who would win the contest? A true drabble.
"Plants": Can little Ereinion get rid of this new tutor of his? Or perhaps the subject he detests? A double drabble.
"Threats": Two orcs, Radog and Otol, were fighting over a fresh kill. Who won? A double drabble.
"Water": How was swimming invented? A tripple drabble.
"Wind": Chilly breeze meant something sinister in Himring… A true spooky story, if ever there were one, for the twins Elrond and Elros. A triple drabble.
"Hobby": Twinspeech — The horror! The horror! But Maedhros still falls into that ploy, sadly. A true drabble.
"Tradition": There is a strong, strong reason why Thranduil prefers to build his home firmly on the ground. A tripple drabble.
