New Challenges Feature
I replaced our old challenges system with something quite a bit more stable. Unfortunately, the old challenges had to be removed for the time being, but feel free to add new ones!

I'm glad to see any changes which upgrade the system and reduce or eliminate problems. I'm sure that most authors have their challenges on file and can simply post them again if they choose.

I agree also, but in the event that they did not back up their challenges will some reappear? There were some that I had not yet written for that I liked.

for some reason i can't locate the challenges. i used to be able to a long time ago, but for quite some time it's just not there. it's weird. can someone post the url or something so i can find it?

if you click on the browse tab at the top of the page, there is a link to the challenge page, in the list of links that appear. i hope that helped. :)

I'm new here so I haven't quite caught on. What exactly is a challenge.

It's basically an idea someone throws out there for another writer(s) to build on. It's an opportunity for people to suggest stories, with guidelines, for other people to write. For example, a challenge may suggest particular characters in a specific time or place and leave the rest up to anyone who accepts the challenge.
