Great New Movie with Sean Bean!
From time to time, I receive mail from production companies who are promoting movies starring LotR actors. I don't often post about these, especially if the movie is something everyone will already know about.

However, this one really piqued my interest. It's a new movie starring Sean Bean and he looks so much like Boromir in this movie that it's uncanny. Beyond that, it just looks like a very good film.

The company producing this movie has offered to sponsor a contest for people to win tickets to go see it here on LotRFF. If I receive feedback to indicate that there's an interest in this, I'll probably take them up on it.

In the meantime, here's what they say about the movie:

The film is a historical epic set during the deadly pandemic of the 14th Century. Sean Bean stars as the fearsome knight Ulrich, who is tasked with leading his group of mercenaries to a remote village where it is rumoured there are no traces of the pestilence. Their quest is to hunt down a necromancer - someone able to bring the dead back to life.

Their journey is treacherous and filled with danger; encountering deadly bandits and vicious witch-burnings that will put their faith to the ultimate test. Though it's upon entering the village that their true horror begins...

Perhaps it is Boromir that has been brought back from the dead...? My brother is a Medieval buff, he'll love this. I'd go to it for the guys and guts. :P

By all means, let's have the contest! Who wouldn't want to see Boromir again, even in a different world than LotR?

I concur with all the posts above, especially the hotness that is Sean Bean.
