Aww, that's such a sweet story! Very descriptive. I love reading descriptive writing. Poor Frodo ^__^ Good thing Sam is there for him...as always.
Well Done, BRAVO!
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Isilra! You made my day! :) Yes...Sam IS such a good friend. If only he were MY friend. That would rock.
Oh, I was going to say - not many can make first person sound professional [ although one of my favorite authors wrote always like that ] I find it a lot harder to write. But this is wonderful. It's so endearing without being mushy, but Tolkien also wrote it like that, some parts were just heart-wrenching. [ Oh, I end up with useless men, but if I had any sense I would find a Sam. However I think they're very rare and the idea of 13 children is a bit daunting. O.o. There would be no time to read or write. ] I always think of that part where Sam watched him sleeping near Cirith Ungol, it's a lovely bit.
Awww, Sam is such a dear.[ I decided after first reading the books I would rather be married to him than any-one. Plus he can cook and sounds handy at practical things.] I think this shows the deep friendship and love and Sam's worries for his master beautifully. Bless him, I say.
Author's Response: Well...I'll admit that you know exactly what to look for in a man. I applaud you for that. I need lessons, I think. I always fall for bad boys (Frodo being the exception. I just want to hug him and take care of him! I've seriously liked him ever since I was eight when my Mom'd read me the stories. And when Elijah Wood played him...it was official.) or kind of oily ones. Sam is a sweetheart and a good friend. I wish you the best of luck with your marriage! (lol) Also...thanks for the review!
