Hehehe... I loved it! My Grandpa used to play tuba in a polka band. EEP! Great story; I liked the song...

Author's Response: Thank you! Happy to know you liked it.

I so loved the Dol Guldur chapter! "That fellow Khamûl" with a sharp eye for details and his flu! And orc fangirls! Great fun. Cheers, Gordis

Author's Response: Wow, thank you! I hope you like the other chapters as well.

This is a very funny story. I especially liked the orc fangirls (I can just imagine them!) and Gandalf killing the Mary Sue. It was creepy how much the Sue was like Rosa from "An Elf's Love"! I can't wait to read about when they get to Minas Tirith.

Author's Response: Thanks! Actually the resemblance is intentional. I read yesterday a few chapters of "Middle-Earth's Last Hope" and got a good laugh. I checked also another Mary Sue-story from the list "The Worst of the Worst" on the ff.net. The "heroine" was described having a "thick waterfall of hair". So Calamarydhilirosia is a mix of these two, and the one Sue with a magic fox. The song I translated was eerily fitting to be sung to a Sue by our heroes. By the way, I actually meant the story to end here, but now it seems best to end it with the Minas Tirith. More yodel coming!

Hi....

I have to congratulate you. You have managed to find some incredibly tasteless lyrics. It's amazing how people can create such nonsense (I meant the lyrics, not the story).

The story is really funny. I can just about imagine the Elven equivalents of pop singers stuck on a stinky boat. It made me think of the Backstreet Boys (I hate boy bands; rock and classical is way better) stuck in the same boat.

I'm looking forward to an update soon!

~Rhysie

Author's Response: Thank you very much! There are even more of this stuff coming. For example in the next chapter our heroes play some tango. In the first story I tried to translate the lyrics to rhyme, but "The Fishermaid" was such nonsense that it was best to render it almost word to word.
