This is most beautifully written. I have to say Arwen does not interest me and I have read canon females portrayed much better by fanfiction writers than by Tolkien himself - think of all the un-named broodmares ( to quote a friend ) in the histories. I think you write her better than Tolkien actually although Elladan and Elrohir and Estel are why I read it. d;-)

Author's Response: Thanks for reading and reviewing, Fanarix, even though Arwen doesn’t interest you so much. I’ll tell you that Arwen won’t actually be in this story much more (other than, perhaps, a brief appearance in the final chapter). While Gilraen, Elrond and Elrohir will all be featured in future chapters, and there will be various other themes running through this story, Elladan’s relationship with Aragorn is the main focus. Now, I just have to try to work through my current spell of writer’s block which has been hindering me for months so I can get chapter two completed!
