Who is she? What is she? Is she real? Is she just a figment of his imagination? Is she a premonition? So many questions for the reader! I wonder who the mystery woman is who courts the horse-lord in his sleep!

The piece was short, but was packed with description that painted a picture that was clear - but still had the vagueness of the subconscious. It was as if Eomer was looking in the mirror after getting up and washing his face and remembering.

Short and sweet, makes you think, a pleasure to read.
