I actually meant based around ghosts. I think your ideas are very interesting, and I would like to see what else you can come up with. Thanks!
Author's Response: Oh, not a problem at all as I have an intrest in ghosts and the supernatural and all that and would love to write some more involving that kind of thing and most certainly will when a plot bunny visits again :)
Not bad! This reminded me of some of the spooky stories my older sister told me when I was a little kid.
Author's Response: Thank you! My grandfather used to tell me alot of spooky stories more often or not they had a special little twist at the end of them, so the ending of the story is partially a little nod to the stories he always told me when I was a child :)
I absolutely loved this story! The end is so spooky! What an excellent ending. Are you planning on writing anymore stories like this? I sure hope so! This is going in my favorites!
Author's Response: Oh my, thank you very much, your words truely do mean alot to me. I am so pleased you enjoyed the ending and found it spooky, I thought some people find it alot a little campy so I am thrilled that you liked it. Do you mean stories based around Ghosts or my oc as a young girl, or a mix of both? Becuase I would love to write some more stories if I get any more plot bunnies to do so! Even so since I have had such a wonderfully postive reaction to this story I am planning on writing some more, thank you very much :)
Very entertaining little story. Three cheers for brave little Anwyn! I would like to see more stories about this family. Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Thank so very much, I am so pleased you enjoyed it. I always thought litle Anwyn had to be quite tough and brave since she is both the youngest and the only girl in the family, and it seems to be a rule with most children that what you tell them NOT to do that, is precisely what they will go out and do anyways, lol. I would definately like to write some more stories of Anwyn in her earlier da's in Rohan and her family as idea's come to me, but again, thank you very much for the kind review :)
Oh, I liked that very much! :). I think you are right about the Rohirrim, and their belief in ghosts and the end was a surprise. So did she really see a ghost? Well we know she does see one later in her life, so she may be sensitive to such things. I can imagine her brothers faces. :)
Author's Response: Thank you! :) I always do like ending things with a little twist if I may and yes the Rohirrim have always struck me as when looking at all of the races of men the most spiritual, not in a religious sense, though I suppose that could fit in a way too, but more their belief in spirits and another life after death which is proably why they treated their dead with such respect, they didn not want them coming back to haunt them ;) While I left it open, I do think that she saw a spirit and while perhaps it was not the spirit that her brothers created there were so many men killed in battle on Rohirrim soil in terrible ways that there are proably more than a few restless spirits hanging about becuase they can't rest and it was just a matter of timing and also, Anwyn just being who she is I don't think she could resist turning the trick back on her brothers even if she did indeed see a ghost she has to ultimately have the last word on it. I have a theory, that perhaps she was conceived during a time and place where so many were dying and "leaving" as her spirit was just coming into things that perhaps in a way those channels were crossed which allows her some kind of insight to spirits and such, not constantly, nothing like the sixth sense or anything like that of course, but just what makes her more sensative as you said towards such things which would go in hand with her own beliefs that she was raised with.
