That's very true: it is not possible to think of Merry without Pippin. Their devotion is described sweetly and concisely. This sums it up well: "They were content when together."

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing - I like friendship stories about them as they portray them sweetly - my other stories are mainly about them, but the Dreams, Difficulties and Darkness story is taking on some different views too. I'm glad you like it! meerkatalex
This is really good! It is so true that Pippin being the younger of the two, looked up to Merry.
Author's Response: I know, but although he looked up to him he really is quite mature after the War of the Ring. He always seemed to look up to Merry and I admire their friendship, loyalty and nobility - also their terrific sense of humour - which is why they are my two favourite charatcers to write about. Thank you for reviewing! meerkatalex
I thought this was rather cute. But, may I suggest something? Why not put Merry's thoughts of Pippin in there instead of just Pippin's? Or Bilbo's opinion on the two since you mention him. Merry's eyes (I think) are supposed to be brown in the book. Overall, good job!
Author's Response: Thanks for saying it's cute! I enjoyed writing it and will submit a story about Merry's views on Pippin soon.
