Yep, Faramir really did have a bad life before the one he found with Eowyn. I like this piece; it's short, and straight to the point. I do not like Faramir's father. He is somewhat nasty. I don't know what happened to their mother either. I wonder... That's set me off on a thought-provoker! Well, thank you for writing this, and I love it!
Author's Response: Thank you! I mostly based this on his life before he ever met Eowyn. Keep reading! -Midnight
You have to remember that the latter 3/4 of Faramir's life greatly outshone his early years. He ended up marrying Eowyn and became Prince of Ithilien. As the next Steward of Gondor he would have been on King Elessar's staff and would, most likely, have been one of the King's inner circle of friends. He also lived to the ripe old age of 118.
(7.) Finduilas, Faramir's mother died in 2988 TA when her son was but five years old. I heard from more than one quarter that Denethor II may have grown to despise his youngest son because the lad strongly resembled his mother, exacerbating Denethor's constant grief over the loss of his beloved wife.
Author's Response: Thank you for telling me what happened to Faramir's mother, and also for the first part, I catagorized this as movie-verse, so I did not include his later life. Thank you for reviewing! -Midnight
