Life is like an onion, sister dearest. It has many layers, and as you peel it, sometimes you weep. Stay strong, keep your chin up, chickadee! (>")> (internet hugs)
It's so terrible what happens to the heart. It's a tragedy in itself.
Great fic!
I think the only positive thing about hurt in our lives it that it deepens our empathy, and hopefully, makes us kinder toward others who have suffered. You will be able to weave this experience into your writing and see it attain greater depths - and you are already very good, this is simply adding new layers.
Thinking of you, as I know how very much rejection hurts.

Author's Response: Thank you. I know that a lot of times that harder experiences make for wonderful pieces of writing. Rejection does hurt, but I know that I'll get over it some time in the not too distant future. Thanks for the review, praise, and reassurances. I really do appreciate them.
I'm thirding the *hugs*. If this happened to you, I wish you well on your journey to get through this moment. I do appreciate how you describe the feelings, particularly in the 1st and 3rd paragraph.
~Take care~
Don't tell me this actually happened to you! *hugs* Everything will be alright, caller. Listen to Traveller! Tomorrow's a new day so face it with a smile on your face! :) My mom always tell me that we'll get dumped many times before we find the one that is meant for us and will never ever leave. You'll get over it after a while and trust me, you'll look back at that day and smile. Hope you will feel better soon! :) -Beol
Author's Response: I've always been told that the third time's a charm, but no charm for me in relationships this time. Thanks for the reassurances. I know that I'll get up and move on...it's a part of life that I'll have to adjust to until I'm luckier in love. Thank you so much for the advice and kind words, and hugs.
Ok, first of all I'm guessing that this actually happened to you (if I'm wrong, forgive me!). *Traveller gives callerofcrows a big hug* It'll be ok! :) And wow, it makes for one heck of an angst piece- this was amazing! Perfect metaphors, excellent and extremely effective syntax, and amazing emotion. I know you probably don't care about that stuff right now, but when it's over (and trust me, it will be- just keep holding on!), I hope you'll look back on it and feel better! I've learned that the best stories and works of art are produced in moments of the most intense emotion, and this is a perfect example.

Author's Response: It did happen, unfortunately :-(. I really do care about what you said in the review. Even though I'm not going through the happiest moment ever, focusing on writing is something that can take my mind off of some of the darker moments. Thanks for the reassurance and hugs, Traveller, I really do appreciate it a lot. :-)
