aww wonderful but sad lst part.i wonder what will happen in valinor and if maybe he will see jaden gain...i mean she was death on e time and came back to middle earth why nit come back to valinor...

Ah Valinor ;) we shall just have to see what happens.... Jaden coming back to life? Probably not, but that was a very creative idea :) But as much as we'd all love a happy ending like that I don't see it happening :( I am afraid Erestor will have to wait a little longer before a reunion with his beloved :( So tragic, and heartrending, but it was the price he had to pay for mortal love.... I am just glad he has Erion at least!
Thank-you again for reviewing, I am hoping to be done with The Price of Duty soon -though I am really enjoying writing it!- but hopefully soon I shall be able to start on the sequel :D

Wow, that was a wonderful ending. It cuts through all of the problems with Modern woman in Middle-earth fics, by not taking the easy route. Jaden died and Erestor grieved as only and Elf can grieve for some-one they will never see again except perhaps at the End. Beautiful. Many threads sewn up and some left to weave a new tale.
And Maglor! of course, one of my favorite characters - I am so glad you brought him into the end of this, and very best of luck with 'The Price of Duty.'

Again thank-you! that was exactly what I was hoping for, and I am so glad the chapter accomplished it. It even had ME tearing up in a few parts over Erestor's heartbreak. But that's REAL! The story doesn't end with marriage, nor does it end with the death of the mortal, for the immortal endures. They have to keep living on and on.
Ah, yes Maglor ;) He's actually going to be a big part of "Shadow of the Past" I wonder what will happen when he actually arrives to Valinor (apart from lots of angry elves, and Valar doing who knows what) there will be a certain Glorfindel, and well, you remember what we talked about ;) I can't wait to write it!
