Brilliant! And so beautiful! I love how your descriptions of a single moment last for paragraphs. I loved the parts from the pov of the people in Gondor- an outsider's view is a refreshing take on the tale. Although I *think* the Hobbits were taken to Ithilien rather than Minas Tirith to heal, the slight AU makes for a fresh, new perspective. The very last paragraph was my favorite. Yay for Hobbity-angsty-goodness!
