Ooooh thanks so much for writing this! :D It's great so far and I understand Erion so much better already. I wonder if he ever told his father or the twins what happened to him in that dark alley? I'm also wondering if you might have given us a little glimpse into the future when Maglor saw Erion. Keep writing my dear, and well done! :)
Author's Response: Thank-you for the review :D
I am so glad you enjoyed it. I have really had this third story on my mind lately, which makes me extremely happy because I've been agonizing over what in the world will happen in this sequel for sometime, but lots of head way has been made, and I cannot wait to start really writing it hard core. I may still turn out a few chapters while I am working on "The Price" it will all just depend on what my fingers are inching to write lol!
I am happy to hear Erion came across well. There is far more too him then simply the son of Erestor and Jaden. He has his own story and struggles. He's not only black, and a half-elf, but attracted to men as well! Poor elf will have a lot of trouble in Valinor I think :( But you are so perceptive! Maglor and Erion ;) I had some ideas yes, BUT it won't be as straight forward as that. As you know there's also the issue of Irime, and Maglor is not the same elf we see in "The Price" thousands of years of grief have change and stolen from him :( Maglor/Erion may not be what either one really needs.
Well, enough hinting lol! I am so glad you are enjoying it so far :hugs:
Hi,
I've been following this series for a couple of months now, and I have to say that I really do enjoy reading them (to be black, the price of duty and now price of enternity). They're all gorgeously written.
Author's Response: Thank-you so very much for the review Sare!
It's always a special treat to hear from new people, and I am thrilled that you have been enjoying the series so far :D You made my day with your review, and I do hope you will continue enjoying :D
:hugs:This is a wonderful start, with a great deal of *meat* it in, Encairion. You touched on taboo desires, slavery, female circumcision, Erion's own emotions as being racked, and his own difference as a Peredhel, not being as traumatized by his mother's death as Erestor, perhaps due to his youth, or the understanding of Mortality bequeathed by his mother. His scenes with Lavi were so sad. :(
And lastly, beautiful Maglor. :) Well done.
Author's Response: Thank-you for the review :D
Yes, I know what you mean by meat! There certainly is a lot going on here. I realized half way in that I could have spent chapters in that small village, and I wanted to! But I also needed to keep the story moving. I have the intense desire to one day write more about that culture. I found them fascinating! And if I hadn't already decided Lavi was going to die before I started the chapter, I might have had to keep him around, I was so sad when he died, too. He and Erion fit well together. I think Erion has more mortal blood then he may realize. Maglor! I am ecstatic to start writing more about him XD But I couldn't possibly start digging deep into Shadow when I don't even know the full story of The Price. Erestor and Maglor had a lot of unexplored history still to come :D Thanks again for the review!
