I have read and enjoyed your 1st chapter. It shows wisdom above your years in your exploration of Glorfindel and his love and the trouble in their relationship
"But the cage, despite having almost rusted through, still held. The iron ties of memory and youth still held fast. And thus, their broiling contempt endured."
From one who has loved as a young person and lost in later life, I can tell you the ties are iron. They may bend and the bird fly, but the will never break. I will be reading further.
Thank you for sharing
Author's Response: Thank you Lisse! I appreciate that very much. I may be young, but I have witnessed many relationships crumble and stagnate like that between Glorfindel and Erestor. And I too know what it feels like to be bound by the memories of young love and a broken heart, unable to step forward into the future. I'll be continuing this after I finish Ever and Ever. -Whisper
