That brought a tear to my eye. Absolutely beautiful!
Author's Response: Thank you so very much, I was not expecting such a positive response to my little drabble but I cannot lie that I am incredibly pleased that it has had such an affect on people. It was written for a little known pairing that I have never really seen anything written upon though I find their story no matter how brief and vaguely touched upon, incredibly poignant and moving. Once again, thank you so much for your review.
Absolutely beautiful. Reminiscent of Angela Carter - and that's pretty much the greatest compliment I can pay.Lightly written, succinct but all the more beautiful for it.
Author's Response: My goodness, thank you so much for such an incredibly kind compliment. I am so glad you enjoyed it, I use drabbles as a kind of writing exercise as when you have a word limit you really have to go light on words but try to get the maximum effect out of the words you do get to use. Wow, thank you so much again, your compliment has totally made my day.
This is so poignant Anwyn, and it makes me think of Mithrellas and Imrazôr. I may be wrong, but it occurs to me because you write of Dol Amroth.
Author's Response: No, you are completely right hun! There is so much more I would like to say about them but confining to myself to so many words, 200 right on according to my word checker. I did some more research into their story and their story only exists to JRR Tolkien himself who made a very vague nod to it at best and his son came along and set that it probably never happened at all though does seem to believe that both versions are possible so I learned something more about the story in writing this as I want to research some of the vagueness. Thank you so much for the review.
