Very nice. I like how smoothly you integrated lines from the book/movie; they really fit the story. Great capturing of Sam's state of mind. You can really feel how torn he is, even though he knows what decision he has to make. Beautiful imagery, especially with the life "almost" behind Frodo's eyes. Even though you don't mention it, I can see Sam's tears falling through the words of the story. You have an excellent handle on young Master Gamgee, and he shows through very clearly. Very nicely done!
