Poor little hobbits to be carried away from their beloved Shire and thrust into terrible battles. You sum that all up in just three stanzas.
Wow! That is beautiful! Love it!
Bit short, but nicely written.
Pretty cool look at the Shadow on Merry. I particuarly liked the descriptive mood of the first stanza. I think that really captured the feel of the scene. The closing line was lovely as well; the perfect illustration of what it must feel like lying under the Black Breath. Very nice.
Author's Response: Glad you liked it ! The Witch-King scene is one of my favourite and I tried to give power to Merry's despair in this short poem. Writing poetry in English is really great ;) Thanks for reviewing !
