I'm left practically speechless after reading this- what beautiful angst! And the figurative language is abundant but not overdone and yet extremely fitting and graceful- very hard to accomplish. Very, very good!

Although your lovely story brought tears to my eyes, I enjoyed it very much. Our dear Sam is the bravest, gentlest, sweetest of all beings in Middle Earth. Not a mean bone in his body. Thank you for writing.
