What a vivid, desolate scene! It must have been awful, seeing all your kin lying dead on the field while the others held back! Wonderful!

Hauntingly beautiful! You throw such detail in this you'd swear you were right there with her. I like the way you describe how Amrun knows her husband is gone...very dignified but still so heartfelt! Can't wait to read more of this wonderful story!
