I couldn't help but think "Whoa, that's what it felt like for me". This is great, but depressing. If you understand my weird way of describing this.
Author's Response: Thanks. Yeah, you should know exactly who I was talking about in this poem. Glad you liked it. :)
It's a good poem, but that's NOT what love is. Love is something that takes two people, it is something that you will sacrifice anything for, it isn't selfish, it doesn't hold grudges, it always understands. I'm sorry you had such a bad experiance with "love"
but I hope that one day you'll find a real Love :) a love to live and die for :) Don't close yourself off, it hurts you more than it does others, but on the other hand, be careful who you care about, you are worth total commitment and Love, never forget that.
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I guess I was rather depressed when I wrote this...really I should be grateful. I mean, I have my family and my friends, and they all love me to bits. It's just this guy meant so much, well at least I thought he did. Anyway thanks for your advice, and always being so supportive in your reviews! It means a lot to me.
OMG, I am so sorry that happened to you!! You really don't deserve it! And yet you do not hold a grudge against him or the girl; I respect that.
I am sure you have heard this a thousand times, but you will find someone who had eyes only for you and will be there for you faithfully.
How do you write such good poetry? God, next to yours, mine sucks!
Author's Response: Are you kidding? Mel, I LOVE your poetry! I aspire to being able to write as well as people like you! Anyway, thanks so much for the lovely review! I know it's true what you're saying...just hard to remember that sometimes, I guess. I'm so glad you enjoyed the poem! To be honest I wasn't sure if this one was even any good.
I loved this. I've learnt a lot too. We definetly connected on this one. Loved it. Speak 2 you soon. Love ya! xxx
Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! =) I'm so glad you liked this little poem. I'm not sure it's exactly my best work, but I needed to get it off my chest.
