Very funny! It's great how you manage with so few words to give personality to your characters. That's a Lothiriel I haven't seen before, but she's quite charming (obviously).
Tinara
A most efficient exercise in story-telling, and pleasing too. Maybe you could make a series of similar narrative haiku.
Author's Response: Why, thank you! :) And that sounds like a great idea, only I am not fond of poetry. Perhaps more condensed 100-word stories?
"They kissed in the darkness, and did a great many things besides. Imrahil found them.
They wed the next spring."
Snork!!! Heee. That says it all, doesn't it!
Very funny!
Author's Response: It does. Young people and their impulses, hee. I am glad you liked it.
I'd forgotten this one of yours--so wonderful to happen upon it again. I'd like to nominate it for MEFA this year.
Author's Response: G.A., I'm speechless! That's wonderfully nice of you.
I would have thought, this being Gondor, they would have married the next day!
Author's Response: Ah, but that would have caused a scandal. Can you imagine what the folks of Gondor might be saying about the very abrupt marriage? Surely they needed a respectable period of time to properly "court" and get engaged and etc etc.
Very short indeed! Bu still good!
Author's Response: Thank you very much for reading. I'm afraid it wasn't as funny as I hoped it to be.
Wow, very short, but interesting...there's a lot there for being only 100 words.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading, and good luck with your WIPs!
