Summary: A poem I wrote for a special Elf at the time of Summer Solstice, 1986. I had painstakingly did it in Calligraphy on parchment and presented it to her in a glassed frame. She was mildly amused. Alas! It did not win her heart. Neither did she notice the message in the vertical column. Ah! The foolish things I did for love when I was younger!
