Author's Chapter Notes:
Explaination of how i came to be known as Lira_of_Imladris. Also explains how i came up with my Lira's Lies stories
Hmm, how did I come up with my penname do you ask? Well, hopefully this will explain it . . .

At the start of 2007, I saw the movies on television when I was in New Zealand and I immediately fell in love. For my birthday I was given The Fellowship of the Ring by my older sister and I immediately devoured it, to be completely honest, it’s the only one of the trilogy I’ve read from start to finish, I’ll get around to the others someday.

Eventually my best friend taught me about the elves and some other things and I fell in love with Elladan, Elrohir and Legolas. Within about a month or two, I had written and completed my first ever fanfiction: A Revengeful Prank.

It was a while before I found some fanfiction sites but when I found lotrfanfiction.com, I immediately joined under the penname elrohirzgirl.

I chose elrohirzgirl because at the time, Elrohir was my favourite character but eventually I got bored of it and I changed it to Emily_of_Imladris.

This one I kept for a few months but when my mum found out, she disapproved and asked for me to change it again. For about a fortnight, I searched around for another penname I liked and was unsuccessful until one night when I had an idea.

I was watching Doctor Who one night when I suddenly had an idea. I got onto the computer and looked up some words in elvish and I found ‘LÓra’ which apparently meant song in Quenya (which I now know is wrong but I don’t really care).

As I sat down in the lounge room and began to write Lira’s Lies: The Lies Before The Truth I realized what I wanted my new penname to be.

And so, the penname Lira_of_Imladris was born and here I am today, still under the same nickname, still writing like a mad person.

And note, Lira is pronounced Lie-ra unlike how my dad pronounced it Lee-ra, just been thinking about that so much lately.

Thanks for reading – Lira_of_Imladris
