A/N: when I first started planning this story (eons ago :P), I thought hard about who was the most appropriate actor to include for this particular, small role I had in mind. Elijah Wood was my first choice, since he and Orlando had worked together, but I soon realised he wouldn't do. I needed someone older, someone Wynter could consider 'dangerous' in some way, enough to kickstart all her protective instincts as far as Starr was concerned. That's how Heath Ledger came into the picture. Thing is (and this should tell you how long I've been working in this story!), the idea was plotted long before his passing. I considered going back to my original idea for a while, but then decided against it, wanting to pay Heath the smallest, humblest homage through these pages. Thank you for the inspiration, and for everything else, Heath. :)

A/N: well, the time has come. 'Wynter' has reached its end. It's been a long trip with Wynter and Orlando, Starr and David, and I have enjoyed every single minute of it. :) I want to thank each and every single person who read this story, who was patient enough to wait for every update, and to all the people who contacted me, telling me what they think of this story. A special thank you goes to the people who's helped me with this story: Rikki, back in the beginning, and Amaniel, who has been an incredible help with the last few chapters.
