Author's Chapter Notes:
I entered this poem in a contest and it got published. Please tell me what you think.
We were once friends,
We were once peaceful.
But now we are enemies,
Now we are fighting.
Once we helped each other
With our problems
And now we cause trouble,
Murder and despair.
Our lands are now barren,
Rocky and lonely.
Our villages have burned
To the ground and the forest's
Have been cut.
What has befallen us?
We have slayed many
And now we are dead.
We roam the lands we once
Knew, mourning for life.
Whispers float across the
Land, whispers of a great battle...
