I've been writing fanfiction on and off for nearly 30 years and publishing non-fiction research and essays for 15. I have been a fan of these books since I first read them at the age of 14 and, though I enjoyed the films immensely, I will forever love the characters as I saw them first, in text and in my mind's eye.
