I read the Hobbit when I was 10, the Trilogy when I was 12 and afterwards consumed every work by Tolkien that is about Middle-Earth.
Since English is not my first language, I owe my english skills to the professor's works (and others, but mainly Tolkien) which allow me to work as a beta reader in real life.
