ooo i love this...There's just something about the style you use that makes it very different from the other "lost in Middle Earth" stories I've read..keep up the good work..
random author's note..reminds me of myself :)..
"They each had similar features.
Fathomless grey eyes, sun-kissed hair, skin that seemed to radiate light. Beauty too real and too intense to be true. "
I love that part
and I completely love her reactin...It drives me nuts when random girls end up in a strange foreign land full of people from story books and immeadiately adapt perfectly...
sorry for the double comment...
no sue-ish ness at all..
sorry for all the reviews..but then again..you asked for them ;)
Author's Response: I love the reviews ;)
"She had in her eyes, it seemed, the secrets to the entire world and everything in it. It was like the sun, the moon, the stars and the earth all came under that gaze."
love that
oh minor note..don't mean any disrespect cause frankly I think you're very good but it's "conversation"
That's all I've got to say that's negative
Author's Response: Oh no thanks, the more people that correct my spelling the better! :)
Well while we're on spelling.."comfortable"...that's it..I swear...I'm sounding arrogant now..;)
Author's Response: Haha, don\'t worry, I need to be told! I swear I went back and changed the spellings. It must be a subconsious thing to keep doing it wrong.
I'm a little confused on that...but I kinda like the idea that he's different..oh..wait now I get it..
um..I'm little confused as to which hobbits are really which hobbits..
tee hee..that made little sense..
nevermind I get it now..:)
Author's Response: It can get abit confusing, I sat there and memorised each name and what went with who.
Only problem is now i refer to them as their Westron names all the time.
when exactly did he insinuate she was a whore? I seemed to have missed that
Author's Response: Weel ya see, when i lost sopme of my chapters i had to rewrite a bunch of stuff, without going over the whole story to make everything fit again...Sorry. That was reall really really bad of me. Please forgive. In the old version Raleon got a bit more graphic and low with his accusations (?) so it did fit that he did insinuate he was awhore. But i thought that it really didn\'t help the plaot any to have them mad that much more at each other so i toned it down a bit.
If you could you could tell what doesn\'t make sense to you and i\'ll try to get everything cleared up! A thousands Sorries!
wow, it's beautiful
Author's Response: Gracias!
Author's Response: Gracias!
I want you to know that I love the tact you displayed by making Legolas reproachful of her. The reaction was honest and shocking..I'm used to expecting the typical "mary sue" instant acceptance/ love thing.
I love your story so far.
Author's Response: Thanks! You may not like the next chapter too much. I couldn\'t resist. However, don\'t worry, she\'s going to be too busy for the next few days for anything else to happen and by the time the Council comes up, there won\'t be a male in Rivendell who would want to cross her path.
I love the lullaby
Author's Response: really? i mad it up in thirty seconds....=D
Loved it and am amazed as usual..lol..I loved the crown part..and the political correctness for the times.."lord father" and the fact that there was all read a crown for ceremonies..good details..
The only thing that kinda irked me was this statement
. You males will get angry and we females will cry
Which is good in showing how frivolous reacting to useless and unavoidable criticism is..but you're talking about racism..and that's blantantly sexist..I realize the times are sexist..but for someone as purely feminist as Elaura..which I think she's a very "power to the females" narrator...I kinda had to scratch my head
Still totally amazing
Author's Response: Thanks for taking the time to review. Glad you liked the details!
On the sexism part, keep in mind Elaura was referring to \"we females\", meaning herself and Arwen. The twins already mentioned how sensitive Arwen is and Elaura knows herself. They would both very likely cry. They would be angry too and it\'s likely the males (especially the Elves) may shed a tear or two as well. Have you ever seen \"Courage Under Fire\"? The female officer begins to cry and the males get stupid about it and she looks them dead in the eye and says \"It\'s the STRESS damnit!\" Basically, Elaura does cry. She\'s done it often. What she doesn\'t do is lie. She hates getting weepy, but if she said she wouldn\'t or didn\'t that would be a lie.
Again, thanks for the feedback. I love to hear from all my readers, it keeps the creative juices flowing.
Amazing...that's all I have to say..so so good..
Author's Response: YEA! I LOVE new reviewers! Thank you for taking the time to give me some feedback. I\'m glad you are enjoying it.
Merry Christmas!
Not exactly new love..I commented in the first one..I've been reading but not talking..rare for me actually ;)
Author's Response: Ah. I\'ll have to go back. I knew I\'d seen your name before. I wonder if yours was one of the reviews that were lost in the crash? Thanks again and I\'m really glad you\'re still reading.
Author's Response: Nope, I found it. Oh well. My face is red.
Merry Christmas.
*bows down a hundred times* and *gives a million hugs*
Sauron went down to Rohan...I. am. amazed. That is one of my favorite song..and I'm totally fanatical about knowing every word...you make Daniels and Tolkien proud. Quite a feat. :)
Author's Response: It\'s always been one of my favorites, too. I\'ve been trying to work it into the story since Rivendell. Can\'t you just picture the Rohirrim going wild over it? They remind me of my favorite country cousins, tall, handsome and fun-loving.
Glad you liked it, thanks for the review!
Fierce..that's the only major typo I saw..
Yup, I love Raleon
Author's Response: heheha, I love realeon too. it took me forever to find his name? think it fits? anyway thanls for these lovely reviews.
yeah, I love it..it's off of Leon which is one of my favorite names..does it mean anything specific?
Author's Response: naw... but that\'s funny. I got it froms my friends last name which happens to be... Leon... odd.
