I have spent all day today, and part of yesterday, devouring your fic. I could not be removed from my computer with a crow-bar. Not that anyone tried. People in my house know the look on my face when I am reading something great. And your story was awesome. Damn, I'm striken. You've fried my brain with the most incredible sex I have ever read. And all that heart-wrenching angst... Sweet Eru, I loved every chapter and every paragraph.

You have also made me develop a crush on Thranduil. Which is O_O, since I am the biggest Noldor&Feanorians fanatic out there, not always sympathetic when it comes to the Sindar. But, damn, your Thranduil is hot! And that lovemaking scene in chapter 20... the friend who recommended that I read this fic told me to watch out for this chapter... You are an absolute smut-queen!

I hope my rant makes some sense. I'm still dazed and under the influence of your story. Amazing stuff... thanks so much for sharing.

I look back on this story and cringe about so many things, & wish i could change and improve so much; so it\'s nice to know that even with all it\'s faults, at it\'s core this story can still touch people! ^_^ Yes, quite a few readers seem to have fallen for Thranduil. Even i did, heh! It was the reason why i wrote this story - i wanted to do Than/Legs where both parties seemed innocent, or at least the reader could be sympathetic towards both. A challenge i think i acheived. ~_^ And of all the things i would change, i would leave Glorfindel/Erestor just as they are. Wow! This story has been one of my favorites since... forever. I've seen you leaving LJ comments for AMC chapters and I gasped, realizing that you're the one who authored this amazing story.

I've read it at LoM and was left speechless, just as I am now, after re-reading it. It is just so intense and heartbreaking...

And the way it ends... Gods, it always breaks my heart to even try and think of Maitimo's pain. Even if Feanor's death should pain me more (since I'm rabid about him), I find nothing more painful than Maitimo's suffering, at the knowledge that Fingon is lost to him. Forever.

Your story is the kind that one can read over and over again, and still be moved to tears, every time.

Yeah, Maedhros really must have been devastated to learn of Fingon\'s death (whether or not you choose to interpret their friendship slashily, I guess!) - the Battle of Unnumbered Tears really did earn its name. I just hope they got to see each other in Mandos and afterwards... (Yeah, I love Feanor too!) Thank you so much for your wonderful words.

You have an excellent story here and a very interesting view as to what has happened to Maglor after those fateful words in the Silmarillion, which leave him out of the story's future, neither alive, nor dead.

I am intrigued, though, by the last parahraph. Is Maglor happy to know that he might see his kinsmen again, or does he dread the mere thought that Feanor cannot be kept in Mandos forever?

Beind a rabid Feanor fangirl, I hope they have a joyous reunion and another chance. ;)
