Unless the stories are in a series all chracters tend to want to be written as they so desire. That may not be how Tolkien intended but I let the story speak to me and let it write itself the way it wants to be written. If you see some of what would be considered OOC in Tolkien's characters pleases keep that in mind as you read.
I write everything from fluffy G rated stuff to NC-17 torture fics depending on the mood I'm in. So that said get ready for a bumpy rollercoaster ride with me.

Summary: The Elrond/Gilraen arc is a series of ficlets playing with the idea of a possible love interaction between Elrond Half-Elven and Gilraen, Aragorn's mother, for we know that Aragorn was brought up in Rivendell and that Gilraen died there. The idea of the couple was appealing to me so I decided to try writing several moments of their relationship.

Beautiful doesn't even begin to express the depth of emothion that your story evoked. Its simplicity is poetic. Please keep writing. I did notice a few grammatical errors but they were very minor and did not distract me from this precious moment in time. Thank you.
