Hello everyone! My name is Christa and I am basically what you would call a Lord of the Rings fanatic. I'm currently in the process of making my bedroom Lothlorien-themed, if that gives you any idea of the love and respect I have for the books and films. Now, when I'm not busy with obsessively decorating, I like to write fan fiction and have been doing so since about 2006. And if you are wondering, yes I do have a life! I am a sophomore (soon-to-be junior) in college where I am majoring in criminal justice.

So basically, between school, Lord of the Rings, and a few other things in between, life is good!

Wow. This is an AMAZING story. The way you wrote it was so beautiful. And the story line was amazing in itself, not to mention your discriptions of Elwen.

To answer your question about whether she could die of the cold...well, to tell you the truth, I'm not quite sure, myself. I've heard that elves could only be killed by fire or steel. However, that doesn't necessarily mean that they can't die of the cold. But the way you wrote it didn't make it sound like it was impossible for her to die in from the cold.
