Hi, I'm Zo, I'm an American who's entirely obsessed with elves, so much so that sometimes my mind slips and I start talking and acting like one, thus many of my friends joke around that I'm an elf trapped in the world of men. It's very amusing.
But anyway, I'm also a fan of C.S. Lewis, G.K. Chesterton, and J.K. Rowling, so you'll probably find some elements of them in my stories. I'm currently working very hard on a story I've wanted to finish for three years, my goal is to make sure it doesn't end up a Mary Sue, but instead a very solid, flesh and blood character. I'm always happy when people tell me I've done a good job keeping it from Mary Suedom, and happy to edit it to make sure you get a good feel for the main character.
I also love poetry, so you'll see a bit of that in there too. Currently I'm working on my own version of "The Falls of Nimrodel" and I'm hoping to have it published by New Year's. Wish me luck, I'm having a hard time working some Quenya into it.
Oh, and as a side note I really, really love equestrian themed peices so I also work hard at getting the bond of horse and rider into my story, I love horses, without them I think the world would be rather flat, and besides, how could Tolkien have written LOTR without any horses? Imagine the Roherrim charging in battle on cows or something. *giggle*

I love the Mikado, and I love Lord of the Rings... and while I must admit to being skeptical to the idea at first, This is an excellent story. Great job!
Author's Response: The only weak part of the equation would be me as the writer. Both stories are brilliant, and there\'s a weird concinnity between them (Luthien\'s disguise/ Nanki-Poo\'s disguise; the fact that both stories are very much about the death of the young lovers; the fact that Beren and Luthien scan almost identically to Yum-Yum and Nanki-Poo . . .) The bones of the parody are in the text, I swear.
Summary: A therapy session for the charcters of The Lord of the Rings. This IS random. Anyone looking for a sensible therapy should look in the phone book.
