Ok, finally finished reading. The concept is interesting, a dark elf (Probably) re-deeming herself. Very interesting. Update soon
"shame you were to scared" should be "shame you were TOO scared" and "don not trust me" should be "do not trust me" (Reviewing the whole 7 chapters when I reach the end of what you've done so far. Until then I'm just pointing out the mistakes :D)
Author's Response: ooops!! Thanx! I\'ll fix it right away. =)
*Falling about laughing* This is good.. and funny!
Author's Response: Thanks! The characters were inspired from my friends who behave this way in real life. As you can imagine, there is never a dull moment when they are around.
I can just imagine Treebeard appearing right now ^^
Author's Response: Well, if you\'d like, I can make them detour into the Fanghorn Forest.
*Gasps* Did not see that one coming. Legolas and Aragorn can never get a break, can they?
Author's Response: Good. I was hoping it would be an even bigger surprise than Hatch\'s sudden death. No, I\'m afraid they can\'t, but hope springs eternal, so maybe... :o)
I loved this chapter.. I hate Hatch *Growls* Good writing of an evil character!
Very glad that Aragorn and Legolas are free again, although I have a great amount of sympathy for Aragorn, being stuck in that tree.. :)
Author's Response: I\'m glad you did. He is not a very lovable character, that\'s for sure. Thanks. Surely, you don\'t think they\'ll stay free. :o) It will be a while yet of traveling with Legolas before our dear ranger is comfortable in a tree.
Somewhere in the fourth paragraph you've put "ans" instead of "and"
Little confused at the end, where you've put "he looked at the two brothers" I assume you mean brothers-in-spirit or something along those lines, but it may confuse newer readers.
Great chapter! This fic is really interesting! Hope you update soon!
Author's Response: Thanks for pointing out my typo. I\'ll fix it. L&A were having fun with Pickett, saying they were brothers. When Pickett said they didn\'t look alike, Aragorn said they had different parents. It was meant as a joke to go over Pickett\'s head, which it did. There have been several references since of them being brothers, which is what the poor troll believes, so it‘s just a continuation of the joke. Glad you liked the chapter and the story. More will be along soon.
WOW! I LOVE this! Update Soon!
Author's Response: WOW is great. Thank you. I\'m glad you are enjoying this story. The next chapter will be along soon.
*Groans* Captured again?
Great chapter! :D Keep up the hard work!
Author's Response: Oh, yes. It seems to be a trend. :o) Thanks. I\'ll do my best.
*Gulps* Half of me is screaming "Hurt them and die." The other half is actually looking forward to seeing them getting tortured.... *Evil grin*
Author's Response: Oh dear. You have a definite need to see suffering, don\'t you? Of coufse, it\'s better that it happens to someone in fiction rather than real life. Evil grin indeed. :o)
I actually did a victory dance when Legolas killed Hatch.
I know I haven't reviewed any of your other stories on this site, but when I read Stories of Arda, you were one of my favourite authors. And once again, you've pulled off a BRILLIANT story. DUDE YOU ROCK!
Author's Response: Yes, that was a happy moment, wasn\'t it? Thank you. I love to hear that I\'m a favorite of a reader. I\'m glad that you are liking this story. I also love hearing the word brilliant. :o) Thanks again.
RE: Last review: Sorry, it's just so long since the first reference was made, I had totally forgotten about it
They cannot get captured again! Stupid Trolls! Stupid evil Trolls!
Author's Response: No problem. Well, they are certainly going to do their best not to get captured again. The trolls may be stupid and evil, but there are a lot of them, unfortunately.
YAY!! They're FINALLY free! *Dances for joy* Hopefully no more "branches" to stop them escaping ^_^
Author's Response: Yes, they are free. There will be no more \"branches\" to waylay them, but there are plenty of other things out there that can. :o)
YES! FINALLY out!
The first bit was sooo tense! VERY glad Tack was sleepy!
One little mistake, you've put "noting" instead of "nothing" in the fifth line when Aragorn realises there's nothing he can do to help Legolas.
Hope they don't get captured again, looking forward to the next chapter!
Gemini
Author's Response: I was going for tension at that point. Sleepy trolls are good trolls. Thanks for pointing out the typo. I try to catch them all, but some always sneak past me. I corrected it. I hope so, too, but with their luck... :o)
Please don't be a troll, PLEASE don't be a troll...
Author's Response: Now click you heels together. :o) I wish I could tell you whether it is or not, but you\'ll have to wait for the next chapter for that revelation. Keep hoping.
That definitely wasn't a tree! I can't believe they got caught AGAIN! Still...If Aragorn finds his sword he'll finally be able to do SOMETHING to Hatch and get out of there!
Author's Response: No, it wasn\'t. I\'m afraid you\'ll have to believe it. Poor guys. You mean Pickett. Lets\' hope they can find something that will get them loose for good next time. :o)
I must of missed the memo that said you had posted this chapter, sorry I only got around to reading now. Glad it was Legolas and not a troll! And I hope they escape alive!
Author's Response: I wondered what had happened to you. No need to apologize. I\'m just glad you\'re back. I\'m sure Aragorn was *very* glad it was Legolas and not a troll. :o) I hope so, too!
Personally I think the chances of Aragorn not noticing are very slim. Shame the lightning didn't kill Scron. Hope you update soon!
Author's Response: I agree wholeheartedly that the chances are very slim, more like none. :o) It\'s a bigger shame that the lightning didn\'t kill *all* the trolls. I will update as soon as I can manage it.
I feel sorry for Legolas, injured, trapped in a small hidey-hole, trolls looking for him and Aragorn about to interigate him...I bet hunting spiders in Mirkwood seems like a piece of cake right now!
Author's Response: You certainly summed up Legolas\'s woes quite well. Aragorn\'s company may be a comfort, but the man is also a healer, and hiding things from him won\'t get past him at all. I think our dear elf would be extrememly happy to be hunting giant spiders about now.
Valar! Not again!! They have been captured by Trolls for 21 chapters, can someone please give them a break?!
Author's Response: They did get captured way back in the first chapter, didn\'t they? Poor guys. Well, things may not be as dire as they currently appear. Then again... :o)
