Great, engaging story. :)
I like. *nodnod* 'specially the last stanza.
Author's Response: fanx!
Haha, very good. So elves aren't always as self-assured and dignified as they seem....
Author's Response: Thanks.
Hahahaha! Amazing! It's hard to write lyrics for a tune already written, rhyme, and keep a story going, but this was great. "Blame it all on the Ring--" Oh man. I loved the Amarillo Sky one too. And yeah, I'm a country fan. :)
Author's Response: I know: there are so many clever country songs. I keep thinking that \"Redneck Woman\" would make a great parody.
I love how you manage to keep the cadence, change the rhyme scheme, and still make it fit it so well. You are so good! o.o This is better than the original. What the heck is a "birmingham", anyway?
Author's Response: If you meant that seriously, Birmingham is a city in Alabama. Thanks for the review: I really enjoy writing parodies, and I try very hard to keep the song recognizeable (although it's not a huge trick if you know a little about meter and are patient). I admit I thought of coming up with a "Paint Me a Numenor" . . .
Wow! I really like your writing, it flows so nicely. :) And you obviously have a big store of Tolkien knowledge. Very fun to read, I'm gonna read more of your stuff!
Author's Response: It\'s that Callimachus thing. When a plot bunny bites me, I can\'t write until I think I\'ve read all the right bits. It means a lot that you enjoy it.
Wow! Very good! A very emotional story. I'm curious about what happens next. It would work as a story about anyone, too-- it doesn't rely on canon. Schveet stuff.
Hahaha! This was super. :) It was nice to have it point out some of the big differences between the book and the movie and why the director did it. Nicely done!
Author's Response: Thanks! I\'m going to update soon...I hope.
Not Shadowfax! But a very succinct story. I really enjoyed it. :)
Author's Response: Thanks for your review, I\'m glad you enjoyed it!
I like. Very nice cadence, rhythmic, and even where there is no rhyme the words fit together wonderfully. Great idea, too!
Author's Response: Thank you very much!
Bwahaha. Fantastic.
As always, I love your writing, and this is both funny and sad, in that a situation like Helm's Deep could be both terrifying and monotonous. The character is great too :)
Author's Response: Thanks. I liked her voice too.
This was so nice. It wasn't overdone, yet it was really beautiful. Great work!
Author's Response: Thank-you!
This is really awesome. It does capture what she must have felt, and the poetry itself is beautiful. I love the last part.... really really nice.
Author's Response: Thanks alot :-) I\'m glad you liked it
And I was trying to reach Pizza Hotline... whoops.
Great story! Cool to see one about Turin.
Author's Response: Thanks. Turin just seemed like the right person to have his life messed up by a modern artifact (since he\'s already destiny\'s kickball anyway).
