Reading is my passion. Although I love the feel of a book in my hand and the ability to turn its pages, I enjoy even more the talent and imagination of others. Tolkien was some of the first I've ever read, I also enjoy the works of his friend, C S Lewis. I enjoy the HP series by Rowling (I have only devoured all six books within the last year, as I came to the series very late) and O'Brian's Aubrey and Maturin novels. I am an avid anime and manga fan, enjoy playing the Final Fantasy series on the Playstation platforms, sketch every now and then, and play 'mom' to a seven-year-old Pomeranian and a three-year-old retired racing Greyhound.

Summary: Arwen and Gandalf arrange for a little reward for Aragorn's faithful but lonely companions on the night of Arwen and Aragorn's wedding. One chapter each for Legolas, Elladan and Elrohir, and Gimli. I consider this a gap-filler, as I have tried to stay true to who was where at what time, but I have taken a great deal of liberties with those gaps. This is also a part of a series of stories, some that come before and some after, and you may find hints of that.

A nice solid opening. It's interesting that Aragorn should think that Arwen should set his friends up with common wenches (much unlike the scene from Disney's The Three Musketeers that comes to mind).

Very, very good, this one. Lothiriel knows how to put her foot in her mouth sometimes. The cleft bit was very fun, it put me in mind of Beavis and Butthead for a moment. Cleft. Huh Huh. I can hardly wait for more.

Very well written! I'm sorry to see it end though. Perhaps we may read about the trials of pregnancy for both Eomer and Lothiriel?
