So... I'm Tuxedo Elf, but almost everyone calls me Tux. Sometimes in real life too!

I'm 29 years old, English and married to a chef. It's a handy thing to remember when he annoys me! :P We have a beautiful little boy, born in January 2008.

Outside of fanfiction I like baking, beading, and animal care. I'm an avid fishkeeper - three tanks and counting! Due to personal circumstaces I am not currently shooting, but I'm hoping to return to archery in the new year.

I hope you enjoy my fics - like most people I don't like flames, but concrit is most welcome. I've been writing in this fandom since 2004, but I still feel like I've barely scratched the surface! I mostly write slash these days, but do write gen and het too, when the mood takes me!

That is the best fic I have read in a long time. I love the style and it's nice to see a slightly more forgiving version of Celegorm. I think it gets forgotten that he was held in high esteem by Orome before he made that fateful choice! Thanks for writing this beautiful fic.

Ohhh so sad! Very beautifully written and lovely OCs. I think it's also quite logical that those who first refused the Valar's summons wouldn't want to go to Mandos' Halls either.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words - I'm very pleased that you liked it. Yes, I think these Elves might prefer to stay in the world they knew, among their loved ones This would seem almost sacrilegious to the Eldar (like Tínen), and Tolkien's stories are of course told from their POV. However, I think Illuvatar might have approved of the Wood-elf's choice. (PS: I see I accidentally forgot to tick the box 'Completed' when first submitting the ficlet. It's fixed now.)
