Bio:
They give me a name, just a number in letter format. They tell me that my sex defines my gender, which defines who I am and what I am able to become. Society pushes me to follow the "guidelines" of this life in which I am living. I would like to say that I do not follow society's "guidelines" but even the great take part in society. For to rebel from society is to first be part of it, and to know where sacrifice and truth can be brought forward into the eyes of the people. It is the poeple who create society and influence corporations to dictate the guidelines. If society as a whole and we as individuals want change, we have to be it. Because if the masses continue supporting and idea or a "guideline," so will the scribes of those "guidelines."

The white man said, "Coloured people are not allowed here."
The black man turned around and stood up.
He then said, "Listen sir...when I was born I was BLACK. When I grew up I was BLACK. When I'm sick I'm BLACK. When I go in the sun I'm BLACK. When I'm cold I'm BLACK. When I die I'll be BLACK. But you sir, When you're born you're PINK. When you grow up you're WHITE. When you are sick you are GREEN. When you go in the sun you turn RED. When you're cold you turn BLUE, and when you die you turn PURPLE. But you have the nerve to call me coloured?" The black man then sat back down and the white man walked away.

Summary:

This is the continuing saga of a 36 year old female soldier who finds herself in Middle Earth during The Return of the King. This is part three of a series which will follow the plot of J.R.R. Tolkien's Lord of the Rings books. She is not a tenth walker and the events as written by Professor Tolkien will not be rewritten to accommodate her. Her part in the story and her interactions with the main characters will occur in places and times that Tolkien did not include in his writings.

I claim ownership of none of J.R.R. Tolkien's original plot or characters; however, Elaura and her story Typically Atypical are Copyrighted © 2006.

So, is there going to be an update or is it not worth my time to hope for one?

Author's Response: Yes, I have every intention of updating this series and uploading more volumes, I've just had a lot going on IRL for several years. Frankly, at the time I stopped writing on this, I didn't have any first-hand experience concerning a happy marriage. Now I do and I have more material. One of those things, I guess. A person can write about fantastical creatures, but it's very difficult to write believable dialog for them if you have no personal reference. I am terribly sorry for putting it off, but I believe the quality would have suffered for forcing it. Again, I apologize sincerely for leaving everyone hanging.
