We all need a fortress at times.
Author's Response: I will let you in on a little secret: this was written because a moderater on this site saw fit to attack me for no reason. I felt there was no one else to turn to, so I wrote that Legolas was there to comfort me.
And there are those iron eyes
The ones that used to make me smile.
I love those two words, Iron eyes. speaks of hope that has died, a tender trust that has been broken?
Good work here.
Author's Response: Yes. Elladan is my muse, so I enjoy describing him in words that reflect his inner turmoil (or lack thereof).
You found me and kept me.
This is the start of healing. To belong to some one who cares is a true joy.
Author's Response: It truly is. I guess I never noticed before that one can trace the path of my personal healing. It's been three years in the making and I'm glad I finally found it. Thank you so much for reviewing. It does the spirit good!
This really captures my own feelings. Rain , especially in the autumn season makes me feel like writing and listening to music is the best thing I could be doing. A very calming and lovely verse. I do wish you would write more!
Author's Response: You know, my mind and heart have been drawing closer to fanfiction again. I believe I will have some new things soon. Life is really starting for me, so it may be a while. But I also believe that out of this newness of life that I will be compelled to share with others my new experiences. Thanks again for the reviews!
Oh Ardis! There are healers that can help that. Eru best of all.
"We will find us" The dream of every soul who ever drew breath. Very lovely and intense. You are such an awsome poet.
Author's Response: Thanks! You are so kind.
How enchanting. My dreams come true! An Elf helps me in to a steaming bath and another is making cocoa for a house full of them. You are a woman after my heart!
Author's Response: :) Well . . . you know ;) What can I say, I love my elves.
I enjoyed this and look forward to more.
Author's Response: Thank you, Lisse. As I mentioned in the story notes, this is merely an excerpt from a short story that I've barely begun working on. It's on the shelf for now and I'm not sure exactly when I'll be working on it in earnest. I have a number of stories in progress at the moment and I work on them as my muse moves me.
Love the part about chopping elmo to bits. I envision taking elves into Barnes and Noble with me. They try to pay for star bucks with priceless ancient coins of pure gold. They get all wired on the ton of coffee and we are asked to leave. Thanks for the laughs Los Gloriol. You never cease to put a smile on my face.
Thank you for your response to my challenge. Any 3 year old is a handful. And I can imagine your puffy cheeked little blond elfling to be double trouble! What a patient Ada, and happy childhood you made for Legolas. No wonder he grew to be so strong and beautiful!
Welcome to this excellent site. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do. This is one of my favorite stories by Greengreatdragon. This site will be the richer because you have joined.
Author's Response: aw thanks so much! :D <3
Beautiful. Well written. This shows a wildness about Elves that I have always asociated with them. I am so delighted with this story and the more so because you included love between them. You are a gifted writer.
I enjoyed this when I read it for the first time months ago. I imagine Legolas would have long thought on this moment. Thank you for an enjoyable story
Author's Response: thanks again!! <3
I've always thought there must be some prejudice toward elves on the part of humans, brought on by ignorance and jealousy. Thank you for this story.
This is your first and only and it is so very good. Please, you must write more. I have heard other author's much better than I am give this advise. Try to write every day. You do not have to post, but write something for yourself every day.
Give us more!
Beautiful beyond my ability to describe. Masterfully done. Entrancing
Author's Response: Thank you!
every word is perfection
Author's Response: ::blushes:: Awww...thanks! We put in a lot of work. It's nice to know that someone thinks it paid off. :-)
So nice to read another of your stories.I don't think you've posted a new one in some time. I'm a big fan of yours. this is Charming, and entertaining. Wonderfully written!
Author's Response: Thank you for reading, Lisse!:) I thought I could prove Uni and fanfiction can be equally balanced. And I was wrong... So now high on my summer to-dos is to catch up on writing. Danke!
Oh how very beautiful and touching. The Fall season conveys endings and grief and your carefully crafted words bring it all home. You did such a good job. I feel Legolas' heart break and your own.
"May blessings go with you"
Author's Response: Thanks you! I am so glad you enjoyed! Calo anor na ven! Vanwa
"Dear Valar, what had he done?
He reached out to her, “Calavénë I-” Haldir realizes he's been horrid, and Rumil is on to him!
You are doing a fine job!
