just wanted to say i just discovered this story and am really enjoying it; keep going, please!

and a little note: the pronounciation you gave for "aieriel" was incorrect. in elvish, it would be "aye-air-ee-ell". if you wanted it to be "eye-eer-aye-ell"(the pronounciation you gave) it would be "ai-iraiel" or something like that. i'm not saying you need to change it or anything - if you wanted it that way, it's your story and you can do what you want - just wanted to point that out. :)

Even I have trouble pronouncing it now, especially after delving into some studies of Sindarin and Tengwar and such. It is my understanding that your birthday is in Feb? I'm not sure of the exact date, but I'd like to know! And this is my little present to you, though LOL! I wish I could have sent something instead, because writing is a poor excuse for a birthday present.

I've always chided Kitt about Cirdan. But I was adamant I would write something about him. During my course of research, I discovered that he had a beard because he was an ancient Elf, probably the oldest in Middle-Earth. Apparantly, if an Elf gets to a certain age they grow a beard. This is simply fascinating to me. And I am so thankful Kitt gave me a sound reason to research Cirdan. In the end, I have the utmost respect for the Elf-lord. He was simply a great man, beard and all :)

This story will probably not do Cirdan justice. First Age tends to be what I write normally. But it was a nice change. I hope you find something you like in it Kitt. *Hugs you* And I hope you had a wonderful birthday.

aw such a sweet and sad story! a couple things i would say as concrit would be to keep working on "in-between" things; the story seemed to jump around alot. it needed some transition sentences. also, the word "okay" wouldn't have existed in lotr, so i would put "fine" or "alright" instead. other than those few things, though, it was very enjoyable!
