Regicide by Alatariel Narmolanya Rated: PG-13 [Reviews - 6]
Summary: Everything seems well after the passing of the War of the Rings and the evil of Mordor. Broken alliances have been mended, kingdoms are flurishing, and the Fellowship - that is, what remains of it on Arda - are living happily. So what is this whisper of plans to overthrow the King of Gondor and murder the Fellowship and those close to the King? To weave through mysteries, dangers, and deaths, the Fellowship must once more come together.

Some must die in order for others to live...

Summary: A dark AU tale (bookverse) in which Merry holds Frodo captive at Crickhollow "for the salvation of the Shire." Merry will be corrupted, Frodo will begin to break, Sam will fight to save him, Pippin will be forced to choose sides, and all four hobbits will be challenged in unexpected ways. Though the ending will be hopeful, this story travels dark roads.

I've read this on stories of arda, but only bits and pieces. I am reading its sequal, but I haven't reviewed on it quite yet. This is an awsome story! Keep coming with them!

Author's Response: thank you! I have lots of help from Ariel and CelandineG and Aratlithial. I can\'t believe I\'ve been writing this for 3 years. Glad you like it so far.

Oh boy, Pippin's in a sort of bad spot. On the one hand, he wants to help Frodo, while on the other, he wants to do what Merry says. I like it how you put it through Pip's perspective.
Merry's not acting himself though, suppose that's what got Pippin in such a spot.

Author's Response: things will get pretty dark for poor Pip before the end. thanks for writing!

Aww, what a delightful tale! Saradoc feeling upset because Esmeralda isn't coming for Yule and little Frodo trying to cheer him up.

And the dirty laundry! Heehee. Little 'scallywag' indeed!

Author's Response: Thank you!

Summary: Frodo discovers the first signs of age.

Story inspired by this shirebunny: At Cormallen, or in Minas Tirith, Frodo discovers one effect of the Ring's destruction - a grey hair (or hairs) sprouting on his head. After so many years of Frodo being "well-preserved" by the Ring, compounded by what he went through to destroy it, it seems likely that the aging process would at last show up in him at least a bit.

Ah, teasing cousins! What fun ^_^
Frodo's getting to be not so 'well-preserved', is he?
Loved this line:

'Good-naturedly Pippin clapped his hand on Frodos back and smirked. "Don't worry, cousin, I will love you even with white hair and a cane."'

*giggles* That's Pip alright. :D

Author's Response: Thank you. I love the cousins - especially Frodo and Pippin - teasing each other.

Author's Response: Thanks Dark Elf! Well, we know who would\'ve thought, huh, it\'s gythia of the wyrd mind... hee hee hee.

Title: Chapter 1: Of Bagginses and Baths Reviewer: Dark_Elf Signed
Aww...that's so sweet! Stubborn Baggins indeed, lol, but his mother knows how to get around that. :D

Author's Response: I\'d rather say \"stubborn Bagginses\" :) In the end it\'s not quite sure who won this battle of will - I think each did in his/her own way :) Thanks for reading and commenting.
