No!!! A cliff-hanger! You write so beautifully, the broken hopefulness of Legolas' character at the end of this chapter is so heartbreakingly gripping - I can't imagine Haldir's reaction to everything that has happened to Legolas. And to think he had waited for a special time for their bonding...

Oh! What a sad chapter! I can't believe Legolas got sent away before his mother died! It must be really difficult for him, especially after what he's been through! Which is really surprising that he hasn't mentioned anything about it to anyone! I wonder how Elladan and Elrohir are going to help him!

Great start! I love your series, all the hidden and conflicting emotions, so beautifully portrayed! Especially Leoglas' fragile innocent image, so sad he's still traumatized after 100 years - but hey, they're elves!
