Oh how heartbreaking for Feredir to lose his last remaining gift from his father like that! The last few chapters have been so amazing I haven't stopped to review, just kept clicking next!! Superb work as always. I like your portrayal of the Southrons and their darkness. Very chilling to read!
Author's Response: Thanks Iri and good to hear from you again. I like to think of the Southrons as they oppressed desert dwellers. Well, not all of them. Some are just trying to do what they can to make a life for themselves, but there are definitely those who take advantage of the weak for their own gain.
Quite the daring rescue! I wonder if Orthorien will ever see the girl in yellow again? And of course Feredir would still want to get in on the action, despite being beaten and half bleeding to death!
Author's Response: Feredir can't sit still it seems. As for the girl in yellow, she knew she would only bring more danger to the others. She knows how to survive though.
YAY! Feredir to the rescue, Hathmund to the rescue and EOMER to the rescue! :D
Author's Response: LOL, sounds like the punch line to a joke. How many men does it take to rescue Terrwyn.
Whoa! Did not see that one coming! My heart was hammering when the hoose was going around her neck, I thought you were going to allow Terrwyn to die in some tragic twist! Massive sigh of relief!
Author's Response: This was a close call, but you know me. I couldn't let her die.
That's a really refreshing and imaginative way of explaining her heritage, I love it! Really nice work and the reunion between everyone was well written. There's so much emotion but not so much as to be overbearing. Great work ! ~ Iri
Author's Response: I'm glad you liked this chapter. Actually I did a bit of a rewrite. I guess it worked.
Hahaha I love the banter between the Elves. The first kiss stories are just precious and hilarious! ~ Iri
Author's Response: I gotta say, writing for these three is always fun. Orth is just so naughty and poor Horphen is usually caught off guard somehow.
And finally it all comes together! Beautifully versed my dear L8Bleumr! ~ Iri
Author's Response: Again, thanks so much Iri. You're always so kind and I'm always happy to hear from you.
How sad that Terrwyn has to leave her home because some people want to see an innocent woman hanged? But at least she's with Feredir and she gets to visit an amazing place :D And I love the pillow talk between these two! Once again I'm bowing to your talent! ~ Iri
Author's Response: Well, not everyone feels this way towards her, but right now, Bregmund's parents are not at all happy and it could be a dangerous situation. Still, Mirkwood will be a great experience for her. Thanks again Iri.
Oh my gosh I was laughing so hard throughout this whole story! Rhav is so sneaky!!!!! What a tease!! ~ Iri
Hello again! *sings* I know where they're going!! I'm glad to have found this, it's been forever since I've been online but I really enjoyed Part 1 of this. So glad there's a lot uploaded I'm looking forward to hours of entertainment! ~ Iri
Author's Response: Hi! :D Missed you, Iri. I am so glad that you are so engaged in the series. It really makes my day. And I hope I follow through on the hours of entertainment.
Oh good gosh! Is Snape going to survive these places? I thought some of the worlds they visited last time would surely give him a heart attack. Now he's in the Rocky Horror Picture Show? That couldn't possibly end well!!
Author's Response: I know. Just wait until you read the rest of the chapters with the Dr.Frank-N-Furtur mixed to wreak all kinds of havok upon Snape's poor existence.
Jack probably nicked one of those bottomless pit bags from someone from Hogwarts (you know the one Hermione carries around?) and filled it with bottles of rum from every single canon he encountered. That's my theory and I'm sticking to it! Another hilarious albeit short chapter! ~ Iri
Author's Response: That is an excellent theory!
What awaits them? Why I'd guess a little bit of everything! Wonderful thus far my dear Melda I applaud you ~ Iri
Author's Response: Thank you! I bow to your applause and you must know how much this means to me! It's good to have you reading again.
Aaah never a chapter passes without mishaps that results in unending hilarity! ~ Iri
Author's Response: I do my best, my dear, I do my best. After all, wasn't it Yoda that said 'There is no try, there is only do.'? Don't tell Marie that I just quoted Star Wars. She hates that trilogy with a deep and unending passion...something like her feelings for vampires that sparkle or Justin Beiber.
How very inventive of Legolas! And wicked!! I love re-visiting these two and their antics! You write them so well together! ~ Iri
Hi there,
I am so glad that you've decided to join the crazy world of fanfics and congratulate you on having the courage to do so. I think you have a wonderful imagination and with practice you'll end up dazzling us with some wonderful tales.
However I do have to agree with the others: spelling and grammar. The biggest turn off for me when reading a new story is a lack of either. As much as an author could have a fantastic story to tell it's hard to get into it if I'm constantly noticing errors. Brush up on that and I'm sure you'll do just fine.
Keep it up!! I want to see exactly where your creativity can take us all.
~ Iri
Oh how beautiful! I was filled with the imagery and colours and even the sounds of the glade. I think there's some kind of Elvish in you, my friend because your words can make me picture the scene as though it's happening right before my eyes. A wonderful talent, as I hope I've said before. ~ Iri
Author's Response: Thank you so much. This was one of my favs to write. I did it for a challenge, with no luck for winning. I've gotten a lot of reviews on a different site, asking if there will be more. I never intended to write more because it was only for a contest, but I couldn't leave it alone as the people kept asking. Actually, there will be two more chps and a wrap up for this. I've been working on it bit by bit for a long while now. I'm hoping to post the remainder of it later this week. Oh, wouldn't it be nice to experience elvishness? I do have a great love for the outdoors, though lol.
Holy.... Wow. Just wow. : D And I LOVE these two. I'm pretty sure I've told you that before. But it has to be said again - these two are two of the BEST OCs I've ever read in my whole life. I don't normally leap at the chance to read slash but I just had to give this a go. And as always L8Bleumr you haven't disappointed! ~ Iri
Author's Response: Thank you Irial. I was taking a big chance by posting this 1) for the slash. I'm a het writer and I'm sure my readers are used to that, and might have been turned off by a slash story. And 2) because of the use of oc's as main characters. But I do love these guys, and I felt like I owed it to them to give them their time in the spotlight. They are two very different people, but what one lacks, the other makes up for, and I just feel that they fit together perfectly.
It is very well structured and there's nothing wrong with your prose. I look forward to reading more from you :) ~ Iri
Author's Response: Thank you. I do plan to write more. I hope you keep reading! :)
Out of all of these I'd say number nine would definitely get you shot on sight. Without questions! ~ Iri
