I love the randomness of all the places they're going. Incidentally most of the places the group end up are fav movies of mine! Awesome work..
Author's Response: We must have similar tastes. I love all the movies I'm sending them to, as well. Plus, I'm working up a hilarious ending to this madness.
'Oh the *humanity*' I cracked up laughing. So it's been forever since I've been on the site and am only just catching up now. I see YOU still have your ingeniously creative spark! ~ Iri
Author's Response: Why thank you! I'm glad to have made you laugh. :D And I wouldn't feel urged to express that creative spark without my lovely reviewers such as you, Iri. <3
Like. Like, like, LIKE! I love Hellboy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Author's Response: Isn't he adorable? I love him, too. He's so sweet.
Oh good lord. I'm going to have nightmares envisioning this hahaha. Wonderful humour once more my lovely Melda. ~ Iri
Author's Response: And I love your wonderful reviews!
Hahaha 'And I was so looking forward to the sound of little hammers pounding at mini-anvils' SO GIMLI!! I love it. Oh I wish I had your wit Melda. I really do. ~ Iri
Author's Response: Oh, thank you. That really means a good deal to me, Iri. And I'm sure you're very witty yourself!
In answer to your Chapter Notes:....maybe Gimli likes to frame the jewels on his walls and then reveal them dramatically to guests? For this I recommend heavy red velvet drapes with gold trimmings :D And good gosh Snape is going to have a heart attack with all the colour in this room!
Author's Response: Yeah, I had to practically give him a seditive in order for him to be able to deal with all of the colors...
Ah Gimli. He really is a kind of Prince Charming isn't he? Actually I think he's more like Shrek, just less...green. Adorable! ~ Iri
Author's Response: Yes *Sigh* He's very romantic in this story. He IS a lot like Shrek! I never even thought about that, but now that you say it, it makes a lot of sense. :D
I'm going to go out on a limb here and say you're a fan of Johnny Depp? Another thing we have in common!
Author's Response: Guilty! I'm a Theatre Major, and I was slightly influenced by his style of acting. I'm also a big fan of Jim Carrey.
Well you had me laughing to the very end. Wonderfully written, Melda and I hope there's more to come from your genius brain! I had a ball reading this. Capital, my dear Melda. *Applause*
Author's Response: I have to say that I'm pretty proud of this story, too. I hope that you'll take the time to read the sequel. ;)
I love this challenge between Dwarves and Elves. Some things will never change will they??? - Iri
Author's Response: I don't think they would be the same if there wasn't some kind of animosity between them. Thanks again for the kind review.
Hahahaha I love that Rhav threw her shoes at him! That's just so typical of their playfullness. Great little story! - Iri
Author's Response: Thank you very much. So glad you liked it.
Oh my, this brings back memories of me trying to walk in my Deb dress. I know how Rhav feels!! I love how outraged Antien (dear Antien) was at her walk. So typical of the gay best friend. And the cheeky reminder of events in Helm's Deep brought a smile to my face. Another wonderful chapter L8Bleumr! - Iri
Author's Response: Rhav is a tough one. Not even a beautiful dress can change her warrior attitude. She really needs someone like Antien to keep her in check. Thanks for reading.
A fun, lively chapter! Poor Aragorn, if this is the effect chocolate has on Elves, Arwen is going to be VERY demanding! Love your work as always, L8Bleumr! - Iri
Author's Response: Thank you Iri. Your reviews are always so nice to see. Oh, and something tells me Aragorn would not complain. LOL ; - )
Good Lord I don't think I've laughed quite so much during one of your chapters! This pretty much describes one of the best *quiet couple of drinks* I had recently.
So how's this for review love; you, sir, are without a doubt my fav author on this whole site. In fact I think I like you better than quite a few of my published authors!! (And no, I'm not drunk) It just had to be said. ~ Iri
Author's Response: I have to admit, I had a blast writing Rhav and Antien. They make such a great pair, especially for getting in trouble. And wow! I don't know what to say except thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful encouragement. I am blessed to have so many great reviewers, but this has to be the one of the kindest things I have been told. I am all smiles right now. Again, many, many thanks Iri. What you have just said makes this all worth while. ; - D
Oh Rhav is in so much trouble if she has a reciprocating tattoo!! Lisse I don't think I've read any of your work (you'd have a million reviews from me) but I think I might start. You have a very beautiful style of writing and great wit. An excellent addition!
Author's Response: Lisse is a very very dear friend and I was so happy to have her input for this part. She loves Antien and Glandur just as much, if not more than me and she does them justice. She also told me to tell you thank you very much for your kind words.
Ahahahahahaha that's hilarious. Now Rhav has to get 'I Love Legolas...more' on the other cheek!!
Author's Response: LMAOROTF!!! Very clever of you. Now why hadn't I thought of that. Poor Rhav wouldn't be able to sit for a week. There wouldn't be any more room for advertising by the time we got through with her, lol.
Stunning imagery! Wish I had your brain! Nice work Melda! - Iri
Author's Response: Thank you very much! However, I am sure that your own grey matter is amazing. Love and peanutbutter, Melda
Very sad and beautiful x - Iri
Author's Response: Thank you. I always wondered how the trees felt about Lady Galadriel and Lord Celeborn leaving for Valinor. Because in the books it said that the Mallorns died out and I think I kind of saw that they died of broken hearts.
Aw, this is great! I love dwarves! They're like grumpy, drunk, loud teddy bears! I want one. Well, I want Gimli. I think he's hilarious with a heart of gold. Good on you, giving voice to the Dwarves! Oh and great poem too ; ) - Iri
Author's Response: I know I just wanna hug him! He's wonderful. My favorite line from the movie is 'I'm wasted on Cross-Country! We Dwarves are natural sprinters! Very dangerous over short distances.' My fave lines from the book are when he describes the caverns of Helm's Deep. He's so passionate about them, his enthusiasm is to be admired.
What a lovely opening chapter. I really like the nature you've given the Elf and the reaction from the children. You've set the scene for what promises to be a beautiful story. It's always a pleasure to read your work ~ Iri
Author's Response: It is so nice to see you again Irial. Thanks for giving this story a shot. It’s definitely the most fun I’ve had writing so far. So welcome and enjoy the ride.
