I am in love with LotR! My favorite character is Gimli. Dwarfs are my favorite race in all of Middle-Earth.
Tolkien is amazing!He was awesomesauce on the icecream of the world!

Anywho, I also enjoy Labyrinth. If you don't want to read any Labby fics on ff.net and love the movie, there is a site called Underground that is specifically for Labyrinth fanfics. I highly reccomend it as I've been a member for a few months and have read some excellent stories on there.

Other vitims of my fangirly-ness are Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,Alice in Wonderland,Harry Potter, and Dr.Dolittle (The original one, not the Eddie Murphy movies).

This reminds me of when I lost my great-aunt to cancer...I wasn't alive then, but my mom was always so sad about it because she'd really loved her. Cancer is an aweful disease. Hopefully one day there will be a cure.

Author's Response: Thank you Melda. I love getting reviews on stories I have written some time ago- it means they are still living- you know what i mean? It is actually a bit of a cheat - spoliers for Sons of Thunder where Gimli has a really important part. But I have something quielty gestating for Gimli - he is, as you say, a very overlooked character.

I read this all and it was really great and so funny! Sue-bashing is hilarious and so fun to write..I speak from experience. My story 'You've got fanmail' is all about escaping and fighting the Sues and Stues!

Although, there have been a few palatable Sues that weren't so bad, but it's the really, really bad ones to watch out for! Right?
