Ugh, it's been two years since you last updated. I wish you'd get your mo-jo back. This is by far one of the most entertaining 10th walker stories I had the pleasure reading. And Bonnie, is a hoot. I love that little spin. Please update soon!
For the records, elleth's digestion takes 12 months.
Ugh, it's been such a long time since you updated.
Inquiring minds want to know when will be the next installment? Prety please?
Well due installment - and I liked it. It shows you like horseback riding in real life. :)
Please don't take as much time to post your next installment.
Ack, it's been a while since you last updated. Inquiring minds want to know - when will you post your next installment?
Author's Response: soon, I hope. I'm pretty busy with my real life though. Hopefully within a week or two.
I cannot speak for anyone else, but I assure you, I'm still following! I like the story line, in fact it seems you caught on what many trying their hand in AU and modern-day girl finds herself in Middle Earth seem to often-a-time miss: if said girl died in the modern world, she should be immortal when in ME, given how our soul is immortal. Therefore, this relationship can actually make it. :)
I'm looking forward to your next installment! Please update soon.
This story is getting better and better, please update soon!
I like the spin you've given the "typical MS, by making her a whisperer and the extra umph of the waiting for the expected showdown between her and the mistery dark man.
OH - and my fav. character is Chaos. :)
Damn spelling mistakes:
Fimwe=Finwe of course.
Wow, having Emily and Erstor not true fea-mates is certainly a curve-ball. But can this bond really not be disolved? I mean Aran Fimwe was allowed to remarry (since his lady-wife refused to return to him from the halls of Mandos, but still...)
Oh gosh, not a cliff hanger! Wicked woman! :P
I cannot wait to find out what Emily meant. Looking forward to your next installment!
Absolutely awesome! This was a wonderful journey, and I thank thee for taking us for the ride.
I'm looking forward to your next story! :)
Please, please, PLEASE don't you kill Haldir too! Bad enough PJ did.
Author's Response: I've tried to stick closer to book verse rather than the movie, but sometimes following movie verse helps my own story flow a little easier. But to ease your mind, I am not killing Haldir. I personally never liked that part and saw it as useless. But hey, even PJ had to alter the story to make his version work. Keep Calm and Let Haldir Live... lol.
Thank you, and by the way, if you're still looking for a beta, I'll be happy to oblige. :)
I'm looking forward to your next installment!
Thanks for this.
Finally a good HET between Glorfindel and a woman. and a modern day woman to boot! Yay! I hope the romance is between them. :)
As for the mortal bit, don't worry too much about it. If their union is blessed/meant to be by the Valar there is an elixir called "Limpe" that if a mortal drinks 3 drops of it they become immortal too. This elixir is only found in the Valar's island in Amman, as they're the ones who make it. But, I'm sure they will find a way to deliver said elixir to Arda, or perhaps if Glorfindel and Thistle sail west... :)
Anyway, the reference to the Limpe can be found in Tolkien's Unfinished Tales, in the chapter of "The chaining of Melkor".
Author's Response: Thank you for your review! It's always great to talk to someone else who has read the histories. I've read unfinished tales, but I don't recall that bit. Time for a revisit :) I'm busy hammering out chapter two! Hope to have it out in a day or so :)
Yikes, it's been like a month now and still no updates. You cannot leave me hanging like this! :(
Please update soon, PLEASE?
Author's Response: I will! Computer failures. I will be updating in a few days. never fear.
Tori, please check your e-mail (and I suppose your jusnk mail too while at it). :)
Author's Response: I sent the email before I published. See I got you ;) Any new emails are sent right to my tablet.
Cool, shoot me an e-mail with your chapter installments to:
And I'll e-mail them back to you with my revisions (if necessary) as TC, so you can see precisely where I entered changes. :)
Author's Response: awesome. well, mine is email@example.com. (strange email I know) I look forward to this...
Looking forward to it! lol
On a side note, you are officially one of my favorite fan-fic authors. I'd be delighted to beta this story as well as the other two you have going ("Thicker than Water" and the unofficial Academy one - sorry I don't remmember what it is called, but I am following), if you want. If not, no biggie - I'm happy as long as you continue to update and see the stories through to completion. :)
Author's Response: Well my goodness! I'm so very flattered! I'd love to have a beta reader! Thank you very much!
Please correct "waive" to "wave" though. :)
Hmmm, will we be hearing more from Lucas? Inquisitive minds want to know. ;)
Author's Response: Thank you very much. Just went back to fix it. My God where would I be without the powers of editors? XD And yes. There's going to be alot of shit-stirring on my part. Be prepared to be mind-f******
So very thankful!
Author's Response: You're welcome. ~salutes~ I think the torture for that part had gone long enough.
