I just wanted to come out of the woodwork and let you know that I've been reading and enjoying your story. Can't wait for the next chapter, keep it up. : )
She was a cop in her world, cursed & banished, she ends up in ME. Now she finds herself traveling with the Fellowship & struggling to adapt to a strange world & trying not to change it. Can she find her way home & when the time comes, will she want to?
Hello. This is my first review on this site and I felt like I wanted to tell you how much I love this story. I've been reading it in the shadows for a while and decided to step out into the light, lol. I've become addicted to your story and updates make me a happy camper.
Anyways, I'm glad you put up the Legolas point of view chapter and finally know what's going on in that head of his. I was wondering what was going on that made him not give a reason to go, and you wrote it in a beautiful way. Also, his reasons make sense. He would think for her happiness before his own. As for the Haldir situation, I'm kinda glad she's going with the fellowship. You are right. Having her stay with Haldir wouldn't have been right to him and would have been a bad thing in the long run for both of them. It also allows to have more action take place, since she's going on the journey.
Oh yeah, before I forget, I also liked in the last chapter how you had her finally accept her fate and let go of her guns. It was very symbolic, letting go of her guns to embrace a new future.
Anyways, I love this story and can't wait for the next chapter. Be safe on your journey (I'm glad you're not the one driving, lol). :)

Welcome to the site!
I'm happy to hear you're liking the story so far and liked it well enough to give a shout out!
Also glad you liked the Legolas POV, it was difficult to decide whether or not to include it. I wasn't sure whether to leave the readers in the dark with Lane or whether to let them in on what's going on. In the end, I had the idea for that chapter and just decided I had to write it, and I was actually kind of glad that everyone wanted to see it.
Also glad you liked the symbolic gesture of her ditching the guns. I felt like she needed to make that gesture and put the past behind her.
But anyway, thanks again so much! And the new chapter is up, so check it out!

Lane's story continues as she arrives in Edoras. Lane knew what it was to fight for the honor of her country, but she has never fought to help save innocent lives. And a closeness has grown between Legolas and Lane, but will their friendship survive it?
Another great chapter! An interesting twist, having Legolas go over the cliff instead of Aragorn. And your banners look great too. Can't wait for the next chapter. : )

Thanks for the reviews, and I'm glad you liked the banners too. They were fun to make.
Check out the new chapter,

Lane's story culminates as she and the remaining Fellowship follow their own paths to Gondor. Lane finally thinks she has a shot at the happiness she's never before experienced, but choices are yet to be made if she ever wants a taste of it. Will she be allowed to stay in Middle-earth, or will she even be given a choice?

lol, I loved the banter on the field between Aragorn and Lane. It was fun to read. And Legolas is back, yeay! Nice to see that he's ok. Will be looking forward to the next chapter.
