The Road by Elbereth Rated: G [Reviews - 2]
Summary: This is supposed to be a sort of Hobbit walking song, but it's now more of a poem. Please read and comment- as it's part of a fan-fiction I'm writing; thank you in advance.

Very vivid, though I think I prefer the Tom Bombadil poem, but this was still very good and I still read it more than once. Well done! :D

Author's Response: Thank you!

"My emotions are clouded, for though I do not love her, neither do I wish her to think ill of me." I think this really sums up how Legolas feels about Eowyn, and is brilliantly written. Well done!

I love the last paragraph in this chapter. It was beautifully written and is true in many ways. :)

I got so excited at the Eowyn and Legolas kiss! (although I do think that they wouldn't be a good couple in real life, I still ship them!!!) Very well written, well done!

Loving the longer chapters. :) Once again, I got excited at the end, because it means that there will be a battle in the next chapter! (I enjoy violence in stories...) :)

I loved the ending; it sent my heart racing with adreneline! Can't wait to read the next chapter!

My favourite bit was the bit in italics. It was emotional but not too over the top, a trap that a lot of authors fall into. Well done, and looking forward to the next chapter! :D

Loved this poem even more then the other one. Please keep on writing poetry, as well as your 'What's Not Meant To Be'!! :D

Author's Response: Thank you! And don't worry, I'm not about to stop writing poetry, or "What's Not Meant To Be"- there's a lot more to come yet! :)
