Hello!

I read both The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings in the mid-90s, and began reading and writing fan fiction for this fandom (and others - see my blog) in 2002/03.

Author's Response: Heh, thanks. I need to finish this fic! It's on my to-do list, just...rather far down the list.

Glad you enjoyed the fight scene. I like writing fight scenes now and again. As an occasional martial artist, I have various ideas of what elements I want in a fight scene so I try and write to fulfil that. You know what? I really cannot remember which of my fics contain fight scenes. Skimming through them now, I'm not sure there are any others that are posted. I think some of my WIPs do... After writing unfinished fics for years, I feel like I've written loads, but I guess most of them never make it to the posting stage!
